Barbara Ritter has been a practicing therapist with Advanced Massage Professionals and Associates for 8 years. After graduation from the The Florida School of Massage in 1999, she went on to complete the Sports Massage Program in addition to advanced training in myofascial release and the application of massage in the treatment of the symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. She is licensed by the State of Florida and The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association and the American Massage Therapy Association.

Experienced in the application of a variety of manual therapies, including Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish, and Hot Stone Massage; Barbara's work focuses on injury prevention and recovery and management of the chronic pain of Fibromyalgia, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, and repetitive stress related conditions.

She is passionate about her work and continues to study and explore new techniques in order to provide personalized treatment in each session.

In addition to reading and gardening, Barbara enjoys backpacking, hiking at altitudes, rock climbing and just communing with nature.
